We don't chase colour, or trend. We shape a single, honest warmth — the glow of candlelight and tungsten — so a room feels timeless the moment you walk in, and timeless again in the photographs you'll keep for fifty years.
The 1919 Approach
Light you feel, never light you notice.
The finest rooms in the country were built long before the LED — lit by flame, filament and the slow amber of evening. We design to that memory. Every fixture is warm-white, dimmed by hand, and placed to flatter the architecture and the people within it.
The result is quiet, deliberate, and entirely yours: a room that looks expensive without ever looking lit.
What We Do
Architectural Warmth
Soft tungsten washes that reveal stone, beam and plaster — grounding the grandest spaces in candle-warm light.
Warmth Overhead
Chandeliers, festoon and bistro strands read richer in tungsten than in colour. We build the room around whatever hangs above it.
Pin-Spotting & Detail
Precise, invisible beams that make certain your florist’s and your baker’s best work is seen — so the eye lands exactly where it should.
